House Warming @ Feng

Yuanfeng shifted house (yes, again) and we had a house warming on sat. House warming gift was a Hi-fi set which i forgotten to take a picture. Paisei! As usual, the brothers were there for bbq but now unlike his previous condo, we can't do a poolside bbq anymore. Sad...

We had some silly fun while preparing the fire. It was still drizzling so we did not shift out of the shelter of the driveway. The drizzle lasted through the night very much like what i felt at Pulau Ubin that day.

Starting the fire was not a problem but the fire grew faster than we hoped for. Check out the flame! We spoilt a few satay and otahs in that firestorm. It was quite a waste and we soon ran out of satay. There were a lot of other food though.

"I caught you, bro! 2X somemore!"

Shots were made with a Canon 300D/kit lens which is my fastest lens. The short focal length (18-55mm) work to my advantage because i can shoot at a slower shutter speed with less handshake.

See the fish below? That's from the Kelong trip! Not easy to cook cause it disintegrates when we cook them like what we did below. We concluded that it's better for us not to carry on. The cheezy hot dog was damn good. Look at the cheeze oozing out from the hot dog!

Yukai caught Weiling in action in the kitchen. Got the good housewife look? I think I see Yuan Shan behind her.... Bro, you "BoBo Shooter" eh? LOL!

The next picture is not for the faint hearted. I nearly died taking this!

Last item of the party was the Gift Exchange. We decided based on the poker cards seen here lay out in front by Yinhong. Each of us take turns to draw. I got a cooking pot which I don't think I got a use for. The group at the bottom are friends from GIP Shanghai. Well, in case you didn't know, Yuan Feng went to GIP Shanghai last semester. Yinhong was also GIP rep for Fudan Uni. Boon Kiat, my Sec school NCC friend was rep for Shanghai Jiao Tong Uni and I am rep for Tsinghua Uni. My group of friends take up almost everything. HA!

Yuan Feng got the funniest of all gifts! An IOU from Elton because he forgot to bring his gift along. Seen here, showing Yong Tian the IOU written hastily on an Alexandar Hospital bill.

What a great night bro! Next time you change bigger house, remember must build street soccer court for our BUSTA FC home ground!
